HISTORY:

Wadowice is a city in southern Poland, located between Krakow (48 km south-east) and Bielsko-Biała. The birthplace of the Polish Pope John Paul II. Tourists can visit the birthplace of Karol Wojtyła where the Pope’s biographical museum is located.

The Basilica of the Presentation of the Most Holy Virgin Mary is located near the house.

DETAILS OF OUR ROUTE:

We leave early in the morning to reach Wadowice, the city located just 48 kilometers from Krakow.

We will enter the Basilica of the Presentation of the Most Holy Virgin, located on the main square.

We will enter the birthplace of Karol Wojtyła, where the Pope’s Biographic Museum is located.

Back in Krakow, we can stop at the Sanctuary of the Passion of Christ and of Our Lady of Sorrows. Since 1999 declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

Our last stop would be the Łagiewniki Shrine of Divine Mercy inaugurated by Pope John Paul II.

We will return to Krakow around 15.00
